The GEMT Coalition worked with dozens of communities and emergency transportation providers to pass HB 5695 into law as Public Act 275 of 2024, which directs the State of Michigan to enroll in the federal Ground Emergency Medical Transportation program. The Coalition continues to advocate for full implementation of this program by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
